Goole, a port city and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England is located on the River Ouse. The West Riding of Yorkshire is the town's historical county.
Goole parish's population increased from 17,600 in the 2001 UK census to 19,518 in the 2011 UK census. It is located 29 miles west of Hull, 19 miles south of York, and 16 miles northeast of Doncaster.
